Resolve lite applikation window size

I wonder why the windows version of resolve lite requires so high monitor resolution while Mac version runs fine on 17" mbp? It doesn't fit natively on smaller monitors then 24". Why is it impossible to scale windows application window to smaller size like it is possible on Mac?

I think in windows is not possible. Some time ago I asked several friends and they never find a way to achieve this, I know in mac is possible but in windows it seems like there's no way.
