Can't edit in Resolve 9

PostMon Sep 24, 2012 5:32 pm

I'm thrilled with Resolve 9 so far but a couple of issues. This applies to both Windows and Mac Book Pro (IHaven't yet been able to get 9 working on my main Mac Pro -- it says there is no CUDA acceleration when I open it, although I have a GTX 285 and a GT 120 installed). I import clips and have no trouble doing color correction and exporting (although I'm still trying to get FCPX round trip to work). Problem is I can't use any of the basic editing tools in Conform. The timeline in conform shows a lock next to the title "Video 1" and clicking the razor blade or any of the other tools does nothing.

These tools worked fine for me in Resolve 8.

The locked timeline that is created by default is the Master Timeline. You cannot edit this. You will be able to edit a manually created default timeline (click on the + in the timeline area in the conform page).

For the CUDA error, are you running the OS in 64bit mode with the relevant CUDA and Nvidia drivers?
