Intensity pro capture audio problem

PostFri Sep 28, 2012 1:50 pm

Hello

I'm trying to capture from a panasonic DVCPRO 50 Deck via component and analog rca.
The audio is distorted and i cannot change the volume from the blackmagic control panel.
All sliders from the audio tab are not highlighted and cannot be moved.
please anyone can help me with this?

Thanks a lot

Komni,

Although I have not used that specific deck, I've used many like it. I looked up the spec sheet for the AJ-D95 (DVCPRO50) and it lists a switchable level output for the "Audio Mon Out" (L-R RCA) on the deck. You may be able drop your audio levels at the deck. I'm not sure however if there is a discreet switch somewhere on the deck to make this change, or if it is a setting that must be adjusted through the menu.

Regarding the BM Control panel - Audio Tab. I'm not sure if the Intensity Pro offers a variable control option for the audio inputs, the level may be fixed. I'm in a similar situation with my UltraStuido Pro where I have been trying to find the engineered specifications for that device. For some reason BlackMagic does not seem to offer that type of detail in any of their documentation.
