How to define where Resolve Projects are saved

PostSat Sep 29, 2012 1:06 pm

There doesn't seem to be a way to change the location of where each new Davinci Lite project is saved. This seems to be a global setting that can't be changed easily for each project. This makes it difficult to archive projects.

Use the export project option to create an archival project file.

Ok thanks. Wish I could still define project location when I first create a new project.

Resolve uses a database to store project metadata and so if you want to export a project to keep it with your media for archival use 'Export'.

The key benefit of using a database is the ability to import other projects into your user account and browse all the projects in the project manager.
