Audio chase track distorted in timeline

PostSat Sep 29, 2012 7:57 pm

I edited in Premiere Pro CS6 and flattened my sequence there to one video track plus one master audio track (plus some title/graphics tracks, which I'd like to involve after round trip Premiere -> Resolve -> Premiere).

After XML export from Premiere CS 6 (->FCP7->) and XML import in Resolve, the video clips show up in the Resolve timeline, but play with their original audio (which I don't need). I don't know how to get rid of that original audio or how to switch it off for playback.

Then I imported the master audio track manually into the Resolve media pool and synced it to the timeline as Audio chase track. In the resolve viewer the audio track sounds fine, but when I play the timeline, it is distorted and runs out of sync.

Probably there is a conflict with the original embedded audio and the linked master audio track? The timeline shows only 2 audio tracks.

I'm all new to Resolve and did not find a solution in the manual or anywhere online. Any help would be very appreciated.
