Sdi audio hiss 23.98 only Decklink 4k

Why am I getting bad audio hiss decklink 4k sdi 23.98 to panasonic bt300? 59.94 ok. 23.98 ultrastudio mini monitor ok. 10.8.5 DL 9.8

Anybody from BMD have any info as to how the embedded sdi audio in the Mini Monitor differs from the DL4k? Audio is fine from the mini monitor, but hissing like crazy from the decklink

just installed 9.9.2 - didnt solve, dl4k still loud hiss 1080psf 23.98

Have you tried both SDI outputs and tried switching cables? Does it do this with any other outputs? Just trying to rule out as many variables as possible.

yes I've tried everything. the really weird thing is, if i send the 1080 23.98 through the same cables from a Ultrastudio mini monitor there is no hiss. the panasonic just does not like the 23.98 from the Decklink 4k. 59.95 is ok.
your tech support here in the US replaced my decklink 4K and it did not solve. they said they tested 23.98 embedded sdi audio from a decklink and it was fine.

Did you have another computer to test the card on? I'm going to see if I can check this out myself as this sounds funky.

i only have 1 mac pro to test the dl4k on. (I've tested 2 cards with same result)
i tested the mini monitor on a mac mini which worked fine.
playing back same files in Media Express (although it happens with all playback software).
your usa support in SF tested a dl4k at their facility and said no hiss 23.98 embedded audio. (although I'm not sure what they hooked the sdi up to that had audio monitoring capability)
this has happened in 10.8.4 & 10.8.5 with various current decklink drivers (i have not tested in earlier than 10.8.4 because I did not have the panasonic card prior)
note: there is no problem hdmi 23.98 from dl4k to the panasonic bt300u
and there is no audio problem SDI 23.98 to the bt300 from the ultra studio mini monitor.
