Intensity pro for monitoring

PostThu Oct 31, 2013 8:09 am

Hi everybody

I was just asking myself...

Since it's not written black on white on the product page, did the intensity pro for win7 is able to output HDMI to monitor Davinci Resolve in full screen on a calibrated HDTV ?

Well the specs say YUV 4:2:2 over HDMI (10bit) so as long as you have a display that will support that then there should not be a problem.

It will need to be a TV or a reference monitor (or in some very small cases a high end desktop monitor) to support monitoring out, but it should work.

It will work with any screen that accepts a broadcast standard HDMI signal.

The problem with most desktop monitors is that they don't support REC.709 and so are difficult or impossible to calibrate properly.
