erratic colortracing behaviour

PostWed Oct 03, 2012 11:54 am

Hello

I'am trying to colortrace a slightly changed timeline (3 new shots), but somehow only 50 of 400 grades are recognized and copied, while the rest stays ungraded. - While auto tracing- When I try to colortrace the rest of the grade manually I can copy / paste all i want, but nothing has changed when I go back to the color tab, No grades are copied. Has anyone any ideas or solutions ?

I even just duplicated the old sequence and tried to import and colortrace that one, but i got the same results.

Help is appreciated.

Hi, unless I misunderstand the workflow, you have 400 shots in a graded project, three need the clips changed. If you put the three replacement clips in the media pool, assuming the have the correct timecode, they will conflict with the three original. Just select the three new and the grades will apply automatically. No need for ColorTrace.
