postproduction with sony vegas pro

i,m thinking about getting the black magic.does anyone know it the footage will work on sony vegas 11 or 12 pro?

afaik vegas fully supports prores and dnxhd, so yes, you would be able to shoot @ 1080p in either of those and use in vegas.

As for cinemadng (the 2.5k raw bmcc footage) I have no idea

It works well with the Decklink since release 9 of Vegas Pro.
4:2:2 in either 8 or 10bit.

It also works with the $200 version of Vegas that ships with Sony cameras.
