Intensity Extreme & Media Express

PostSun Dec 15, 2013 3:19 am

Hi, I get dropped frames while I'm recording my game plays on PS3. Is there like an external hard drive where I can directly record onto so I don't get any dropped frames? Also, it would be good if I can still monitor what I'm recording on my mac while recording so I can stop & record again.

and I've use this device set up: youtube. com/watch?v=tsl7O4pb4Dc

What format are you trying to record into? And using what program?
If you are using Media express you should get a constant live feed on the capture window whether you are capturing or not

ProRes 422 or whatever works with FCP. I tried tuning down the quality to the lowest but I'm still getting dropped frames issues. Its super smooth, just while not recording.
