Windows drivers for Thunderbolt products

PostWed Jan 15, 2014 7:51 pm

Is Blackmagic currently working on drivers to support Ultrastudio 4k and their other thunderbolt products on Windows workstations such as the HP ZBook and Z820 with the thunderbolt option?

The desktop video software should have those drivers if I'm correct.

I've been using the TB shuttle and the Ultrastudio 4K on Windows machines (although not on the HP ones as I build my own)

That is good to know Adbear. It's just that the info on the site is Mac centric and only mentions Mac OS Mavericks and Mountain Lion as required, at least for the UltraStudio 4k TB. I'm using a 2009 Mac Pro at the moment but thinking on getting both, a 2013 or later Mac Pro and a Windows workstation (most probable HP Z) and want to be able to move the UltraStudio and TB Raid back and forward between both computers.

Well like I said, I haven't tried it with the HP systems as I build my own, but on mine they work fine
