Reslove Manual - Tracking Section (Need Help)

PostMon Oct 15, 2012 7:22 am

I find that the Tracking section of the Resolve manual needs some improvement. For example I can not figure out how to do the following.

I want to start out with a rectangle shape. Then over time I only want the bottom right corner of the rectangle (first image) to move straight down so at its ending point after two seconds looks like the second image. But nowhere in the manual have I found out how to have this point tween from a box to a more triangular shape by manually setting two keyframes.

Please help. Any specific 1,2,3 kind of instructions would be tremendously appreciated.

Thanks

How are you Buddy.
Do any animations of points in the keyframe area in the color page.
Select the node you want to change by using the "Keyframe timeline mode" selection from the "Mark" drop down box. You can then use Dynamic keyframe where you want the window to start its change, Play the film to where you want the shape to stop, hit Static keyframe then click on the control point and move it.
Use the show track feature, you can see this does not change, only the shape size will change.
Hope that helps
