Teranex Signal Timing

I was considering using the Teranex converter in a signal chain for converting a 1080 30p signal to a 720 59.94p signal. I know that this processor is fully capable, but would it still cause a significant delay in retiming? I have the BMD Updowncross, & the conversion time with these settings is unacceptable.

Would it be faster than the Updowncross? Is the retiming noticeable?
