Sin City effect...

Hello Guys

any tips on making a sin city effect??

I used power windows to select the object it worked fine, but is there any other way of doing it? I also tried with qualifier but it didn't seen very nice.

can someone help me?

Very important to get a very clean balanced node #1. This will make any keying downstream easier.
Make node #2 B/W
Then add a Layer Node. This adds a new node called "Layer Mixer" and one below. Key the red car and it will show up through the B/W.
Then use a window to mask out other red objects...leaving just the car
Track the window if you need to.

BTW this might take a while:)

It took me while to start shooting and then editing but its finally over !!

thats the final result:


It is not perfect but considering that we shot whith a CANON 5D MK II, I am very pleased with the final result...


unfortunately it have no subtitles yet

I'd appreciate a feedback
