DaVinci Revival blocking removal

PostSat Oct 20, 2012 12:14 pm

Hi,
I'm not too familiar with Revival but I'd like to know if it could help me on a special project. We have an HDCAM master that has heavy compression/tape/blocking problems. I'd like to know we could fix part of it with revival. We would need temporal interpolation or something like that to fill the blocs. Here is an exemple.

Hello Mathieu. I am sorry to have missed this post. It was good of you to post an image as well. Truthfully, if every frame looks like this, detection and replacement might be difficult to perform automatically. Some of the defects could easily be confused as objects. That said, I would be happy to run a quick test on a few seconds of material if you could provide it to me. I have sent you a PM prior to posting this with my contact info.
Best Regards, Gary Adams
