DaVinci Resolve is a great colouring tool!
Black Magic has also been marketing it as a dailies tool so I thought I'd chime in and submit a couple of requests that are crucial to a dailies workflow.
1. Audio Sync
- Resolve needs to incorporate a better audio tool set that will allow users to verify audio-picture sync and if required, the ability to quickly (visually) slip audio clips to match the slate.
2. Audio Passthrough & Metadata
- Would be helpful if Resolve could pass the original audio (.BWF) through with picture and include the audio metadata for sound houses etc.
3. Burn In Tool
- Would be good if users had the ability to set different font sizes, colours and opacities for the different text files used with burn ins.
