cloudpod connection failed on mac

I just purchased a cloudpod to ease my editing workflow. If I connect it directly to my Mac Studio via ethernet it connects fine, but the internet doesn't work.

If I connect it to my wifi router, I can see it but connection fails.

I purchased a small switch and connected the Mac Studio to the same network as the cloudpod. It shows up in finder, but when I select it, it just says connection failed.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong - any ideas?

I am having the same issue. Cloud Pod shows up as a Network but when I double click on it I get "Connection Failed" error message. I downloaded the latest software from BMD and it had no problem identifying and connecting to the pod. The software then told me I needed to run an update so I did that. Still getting connection failure. Also, I have 2 drives connected to the pod but the pod software says no storage drives are attached.
