60fps video being treated as 30fps

PostSat Jan 06, 2024 11:02 pm

Hi,

I've recorded videos in 60fps with OBS, which has worked for over a year in Da Vinci Resolve, and exported fine in the same frame rate. However recently despite changing nothing, the new updated Da Vince resolve now believes the same recordings to be 30fps. In the details under properties via the desktop it shows as 60fps however whenever I set the fps in timeline and playback frame rate to 60 and import the videos the shot frame rate in the metadata shows the files to be 30fps.

I'm not sure what is going on and how to fix this despite adding force-cfr=1 within the Custom Muxer Setting within OBS. I understand using Handbrake to re-encode the video is an option, however this takes well over an hour on 20+ minute videos. Would somebody be able to help me fix this issue if they've had a similar experience in the past?

Right-Click on the clip itself after you import it and go to the Clip Attributes where you can easily change the frame rate of the clip:
