UltraStudio Input & Output fps don't match

PostThu Mar 07, 2024 7:04 pm

I am trying to change my livestream fps to 59.94. Successfully changed the cameras, switcher, and OBS to 59.94, although I seem to only be getting around 44fps from my OBS recordings.

The only culprit I can think of is the UltraStudio HD Mini I have. For some reason although the Video Input is correctly set to 1080p59.94 SDI, the SDI and HDMI outputs both say 1080p29.97. It's worth noting the UltraStudio signal gets to my computer via thunderbolt cable, although I can't seem to find any settings for that output. Screenshot attached.

I've never seen this with camera originals. The culprit might be OBS on hardware that can't keep up.
Now that the cat #19 is out of the bag, test it as much as you can and use the subforum.

The outputs are independent of the inputs. A 44fps signal wouldn’t be compatible with anything, it’s not a signal you can broadcast. OBS is dropping frames on capture.

Good Luck
