Media express captures only SD not HD from my Sony

I have a Sony HDR-XR520 camcorder and a Black Magic Intensity Pro card. When I have the camera switched to SD it will display in Media Express, Skype and Google+. When I try to input HD from the camera there is a black screen. With HD, I use 1080.i 60 and have tried other settings as well.
Is it the camera or is there something I need to do differently?

Make sure the Intensity Pro card is set to 1080i60 in both the Blackmagic Control Panel, and in Media Express. If you don't have both set correctly, you'll get a black screen.
