This is a known OpenCL issue with ATI cards. You need to upgrade to OS X 10.8.2 for the fix.

Hi, I have same problem.
Then i touch contrast, in highlights appear many black pixels.
But i use MacPro 1.1 with Ati Radeon 5770, and apple say: 10.7.5 is last version OSX for your machine.
I cant update my mac up to 10.8.2, may be you have resolution my problem?
Need help please.

Hi Victor,

Updating to 10.8.2 is the only solution to this problem, if you can't use an NVIDIA GPU card.
