After confirming that your composite signal is functioning properly by testing it to a monitor, to to your Apple System Preferences and open the Blackmagic Design Preference Pane. For Set Input be sure to select Composite Video and Analog RCA audio. Also be sure that your Select Input Processing and Select Output Processing are both set to OFF.

Now, in Media Express go to the Media Express>Preferences and choose NTSC for Project Video Format, and then close the preferences window. Click on the Log & Capture tab (right next to the green Playback tab), and the signal should come in. If it does not, test with another composite signal.

For HDMI it will be a slightly different process. Connect the HDMI input to a TV/Monitor that will report the resolution and frame rate of the video signal. Once you've confirmed the resolution and frame rate of your video signal connected to the HDMI input on the Intensity Pro. In the Blackmagic Design Preference pane in your Apple system preferences, change the Set Input to HDMI Video and HDMI Audio. Then in Media Express, change the Project Video Format to the resolution and frame rate that the monitor reported when you had the signal connected to it.

Be sure to let us know if you continue having problems.
