Hi,
I am surprised at how many posts get unanswered on this forum.

Hi Radman,

Thanks for your concern. Our support team answers questions here when they can, but this is not an official support channel. Users are often able to help each other, which is awesome. If someone seems to need urgent help, I try to direct them to their country's support office or their local dealer.

If you see someone who needs immediate help, please feel free to direct them to submit an email on the Support section of the Blackmagic website, or call one of these support numbers:

Australia & New Zealand: +61 3 9722 9700
United States: +1 408 954 0500
Europe, UK, Middle East, South Africa: +44(0) 1565 830049
Asia: +65 6339 2171
China: +86 105166 1116
Japan: 03 5295 5661

Thanks!

Thankyou for your reply.

There is much to be gleaned from this forum for BMD.
The no reply's come from both end's I am affraid to say.
Why not just say, sorry we cant help you.
There are many who pay good money for there BMD products.
They should at least work properly in a Professional enviroment.
I realise that at times it is difficult but there are certain issues
that BMD are fully aware of and there is no response here or from support, I am sorry to say.

Do I buy a product to have to sit on a forum or become a poet and write emails to support all my life.
Can you imagine owning 50 high end products that have development issues. One would'nt get any work done.

No offense meant, but just a feeling from our side if that counts.
Apart from that I am etenally grateful, as on the Avid forum for any good advice given.

Kind regards
Radman.

Amen to that brother. So much time wasted when a simple "we don't know" or "it's broken" would do.

+1

Even one more argument:
Why asking the support for a question, that may interest a lot other user who are affected as well? Answering questions on that forum (even by support) saves from getting the same question again and agin, which will save time...
And believe me - I hate wasting time. Currently last week I had to get in contact with support of another manufacturer. 11 mails later they finally fixed the problem - but nobody else knows about that. Does that make sense for users, having the same problem next week? (don't worry - it was not bmd)

Andhere one of my open questions again (and again): http://forum.blackmagicdesign.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1990

I will not contact the support for that, because I think that is important for upcoming users, that don't know by tech-specs, that there are some codecs missing in FinalCutStudio Pro...
