Resolve crash during .aaf import?

Hi all,
I've run into this potential bug in Resolve 8, and it seems to be more severe in 9b3.
When importing an aaf from Media Composer 6 with Resolve attempting to automatically import clips into the timeline, Resolve crashes (and sometimes OSX with it) if the folder Resolve searches for the desired clips has a large amount of media. With V8 it wasn't an issue unless the folder had 800+ gb of existing media, in V9 it crashes with 30+. Has anyone else run into this, or is there a serious operator error here? I've never had issues with xml import, only aaf's coming out of Media Composer.
Thanks,
Jaaron
