So, I just tried to open up resolve, and it said that it could not find my license. I looked at my dongle, and it is flashing green. I don't remember it doing that before. Is it dead? if so, How do I get it replaced.. and how fast can this happen? I really need my resolve to work!

Hi, the dongles early fail, but I have seen one that has. First check your dongle is in a usb2/3 port, some extenders drop speed. If its directly in the Mac/pc try another USB port. If that doesn't work phone USA support and the can help. You can downloads and use Lite till the exchange of occurs.

It is plugged directly into my macbook pro Retina. It has always worked before. I will give support a call tomorrow.

This is one downside to dongles. I have an ilok with over 60 licenses for audio software/plugins on it and if it dies, i can't do work until i get a new one and start the ZDT ("zero" down time - HA!) recovery process which you have to pay for yearly. Also, not all plugin manufacturers support the ZDT program!

I love that i can carry all my licenses to any recording studio, but if/when it goes down there's potential for drama which i've read many people have had.

Well, after not changing anything.. it magically started working today. hmmm.. strange! glad I checked one more time before calling support!
