Audio monitoring

PostWed Nov 14, 2012 2:15 pm

Hello,
When no Decklink is being used, Resolve outputs audio through the standard computer sound card. When a Decklink of any kind is built in and enabled, Resolve sends the sound exclusively through the Decklink. Is there a (maybe hidden) option to send out the sound via the standard sound card instead? While I accept that the sound from the Decklink is more likely to be in sync, in some cases (such as when using Decklinks with digital only outputs) it would be easier to be able to use onboard sound.

First noticed this on a Windows machine with normal PCI Decklink cards, but it also applies to a Macbook+Ultrastudio (over thunderbolt) setup.

No way to do that. This is why Resolve is only $1000 and Lite is FREE. BM is in the business of selling Hardware.
