Relink EDL to DPX sequences

Hi, I want to import an EDL coming from Redcine-x (referenced to .R3D files) and link it to a DPX conversion I've made in redcine (named exactly the same as the r3ds but with a sequence in folders.

The problem is that I cant relink anything and resolve doesnt recognise the dpx sequences. I thought marking the option "ignore the file extenison whrn matching" would do the trick but no way.

Any suggestion how to accomplish this task?

Are the DPX files already in the Media Pool or are you referencing via EDL as part of the conform process? Is the REEL properly set to match what's in the EDL source table?

Try this, conform using R3D.
Make a new Media Pool bin and add the DPX.
Then right click on your timeline in the Conform page (top left of screen) then hit re conform from bin. It will then ask you to select the new DPX bin. Which should then swap out the R3Ds for DPX in your timeline
