Dead hardware?

PostThu Nov 22, 2012 2:14 am

I have an intensity pro that's worked successfully in an Asus P6X58D Premium motherboard. I've upgraded to an Intel DZ77GA-70K and the card won't show up at all in device manager. I've put it in a couple of different slots, and put it back in the machine it was in before but it still won't show up anymore. I've booted into Ubuntu and run lspci and nothing shows up. Is this thing dead? What are my options?

Hi,

It sounds likely that the card is dead, particularly if it is not working now in a system it was previously. Please contact your regional support center using the numbers here and they can help you troubleshoot the issue. If the card is dead and is within it's 12 month warranty they can also help you out with getting it replaced.
