Cannot import videos to DaVinci Resolve 11

Hello,
I have the DaVinci Resolve 11 Lite version on a mac. I cannot seem to import my videos to the library.
I have looked all over the internet but cannot find any solution.
On the library panel when I open my project, all I see is a Round Blue icon next to an arrow. When I click on the icon or the arrow I do not see any of my videos. (I have also selected the Scratch disk from the preferences menu)

Please any help would be highly appreciated.
