Embedding audio intensity pro to ultrastudio recorder

Hi Everyone,

i'm new here, and that's for a reason. I've got a problem.
Here's the thing: How can i embed the audio of my pc to the sdi/hdmi signal

I have a software (windows) based videocapture system. This system has 3x Intensity Pro and 1x Declink SDI Duo.

Now i have bought the UltraStudio Mini Recorder to record the program out to my Apple Macbook Pro via Thunderbolt.

The video is capturing well. It works with HDMI and SDI. i'm using the output of one of the I.P. or the SDI output.
The problem is that i cannot embed the audio into the hdmi or sdi signal. So i can only capture the video.
The audio goes out of my PC to a audiomixer. The Endsignal is coming back via the LineIn of the Soundcard.

Now might there be a solution with the audio connections to check in 'Listen to this device'. I can check the I.P. or SDI card, as 'Listen to this device'. The audio should then be embedded to hdmi or sdi signal, but that is not working.

Trick, how to embed audio to blackmagic card

This is a quick trick to get embedded audio into your HDMI or SDI output on devices from Blackmagic Design when used with Windows 7.
Open up the properties of your PC's recording devices (right-click the speaker icon in Windows taskbar and choose "Recording devices"). Open the properties page for the input (by double clicking on it) where you have connected your audio mixer (in the example here it's "Line-in"). In the "Listen" tab, check the "Listen to this device" option and in the listbox below labeled "Playback through this device", select the Blackmagic Audio Speaker output.
Voila, your audio should now be embedded in the digital video output of your Blackmagic device.

By the way, i also connected a HD Camera trough SDI and HDMI to the Mini Recorder, and then the audio did come in. So, it is not that de Recording is not embedding, but that the I.P. or the SDI doesn't get the audiosignal into the HDMI or SDI signal from the computer.

Forgot to say, it is a Windows 7 based machine.

If I understand correctly you're outputting from one computer using an Intensity or DeckLink card and outputting to an UltraStudio Mini Recorder.

How you can embed the audio will depend on what software you are using. Simply selecting the card as the audio output won't necessarily work. Usually software that accesses the card will take control of both the card's audio and video functions, so you only hear audio from that particular application. Meaning any general operating system audio will be blocked from outputting. I would suggest contacting your software vendor for more information on how audio is intended to be output via hardware. Or you can give support a call and they can help you further. You can find the support numbers here.

The software i am using is VidBlaster.

My reseller is told me today that he have used the DeckLink SDI with embedded audio, but is going to test this for me again on his system.

If that doesn't work, then probably Vidblaster is blocking the card, to be used with other software programs.

I'll give you my updates about my progress with this.
