Resolve 9.03 MC 6.5 and DNxHD 36

Hello,

I am working on a project shot on the Alexa where I am grading and outputting DNxHD 36 transcodes from Resolve 9.03, all on OS X 10.8.1 .


When I try to import the media into Media Composer 6.5 I have been moving the .mfx's to the Avid Media Files/MXF/1 bin and creating an AAF from DaVinci. When I import the AAF into my bin in AVID the clips appear in the bin but I get the message "MEDIA OFFLINE" in my browser in MC 6.5.

I have been told one job before that my mxf transcodes were not being recognized by Avid, but I feel there is something I must be missing. Is there an online workflow doc available or am I just missing something? Any help would be very appreciated.

Hi,

From page 191 in the manual explaines the process.
If you have followed this maybe support can chime in.

If you do a search in the Avid media tool can you find the files?
