Ultrastudio mini monitor

Hi

I have an imac 27' that runs on Software Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3
Graphics AMD Radeon HD 6770M 512 MB,Memory 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Processor 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5. I purchased the ultrastudio mini monitor and tried connecting to my imac using a thunderbolt cable. Well my machine does not see it tried opening final cut pro just to see if it sends signal to the sd monitor but it does not. Please help me out, I miss my girlfriend davinci resolve.

You have to download BlackMagic Desktop Video :

Install it, restart.

Then in OSX system prefs>BlackMagic Design>settings tab>"Set video Standard as"
Set the project resolution you want to work with in FCPX

Start FCPX.
In prefs>playback>A/V output, now you should see "blackmagic".

To turn on monitoring, go to menu bar>windows, and check A/V output.

I use fcp 7 it seems not to have the same setup as fcpx,will you please let me know how to set it up with fcp 7?
