How can I pause playout using decklink quad card?

After searching the sdk manual, I can't find any api to allow me to pause playout at specific frame. And I want to continue with that specific frame later . So I'm wondering whether I've to use some special mechanics to acomplish this?

Any answer will be appreciated.
