My Sony HVR-V1P (tape) camera has a damaged firewire port so I am trying to use the Intensity Pro to capture video via my new Intensity Pro using the HDMI port. I can grab the video but the quality is terrible. The image is fizzy and the white balance is out of whack (way too 'muddy').
I took care to sett the white balance and it looks great on the viewfinder and plays back sharp in correct colours on a TV via HDMI, but not on the Intensity Pro using Media Express. I have finished all hardware and software updates without luck.
Have I blown my $199?
