h.264 Pro Recorder small resolutions?

What are the resolution options for the recorder? I'd like to compress our cuts coming from Avid over HD-SDI to 640x360 for web, but it looks like the Pro Recorder won't do resolutions that small, nor custom resolutions. Is that correct?

We have a 16:9 edit. I tried using an SD-SDI signal out of Avid, with the ProRecorder set to record native, but it doesn't pick up on the anamorphic, so it's a squished image at 720x480, where I would much prefer 853x480 or something.

The tech specs claim resize on the fly, but even the iPhone setting is 720p. So really, the only resizing options are 1080p or 720p? Is that true or am I missing a setting somewhere?

direct in Media express u have very small custom setting .. If U are on windows , try www.mxlight.co.uk and U can customize everything U want ..

:/ on a Mac. There are to s of settings in Compressor and Episode and programs like that. The whole point of the h.264 Pro Recorder is to do the encoding on-the-fly I real-time. I was just hoping it would downres on the fly as well. I think the prefs settings in Media Express actually control the hardware.

Yes .. Ur right .. But in media express is very small amount of controlling H264 encoder .. I dont know why .. MXlight can control everything ..

Oh wow, so it can... I'm on a mac, though. Anyone out there know if there's mac software that has access to all the hardware settings?

Or is there ny plan from BlackMagic to offer an improved software?
