Ok is anyone able to do Resolve to tape playouts with the Decklink 3D Extreme card?
Our Z800 crate has it's Avid rosetta stone deck control from the Z800 com port and that works fine for Avid but Resolve can't access that port so the decklink port is your only option and that 9 pin port just doesn't work.
It won't talk to our Sony HDCAM or the Sony HDCAM sr deck we hire in. It just doesn't see the decks.
It will work with a local DVCAM deck connected but I never see a need for a resolve playout to DVCAM!
So is it that nobody uses the deck control port so nobody cares it doesn't work and therefore BM have never addressed it's problem?
