Firmware update aborted, now no video in

PostMon Jun 29, 2015 10:32 pm

Hi!

When I plugged in my Ultrastudio Express Thunderbolt earlier it attempted to update the firmware but it aborted itself mid-install.

Since then I've not been able to see any video input on either SDI or HDMI.

Is there a way to manually update the firmware to see if this resolves it?

I've tried installing an older version of the desktop software, then updated back to 10.4.1 but not seeing another prompt to update.

Thanks for your help!

Is the UltraStudio Express recognized by the computer at all? If it's not, you will want to contact your regions support office for guidance on your issue.

Hi Guys,

I had this same problem with my H264 encoder. Updated everything to the latest version after i bought it last week. And then nothing.. it recognized te encoder in media express but no input from hdmi/sdi .. just nothing. (btw...before updates (fresh out of the box) it worked fine in a small test).
After i installed the old Desktop video 10.2.3 back on my macbook i was asked for a firmware update (i guess an old one?) en now its working again.

Maby this wil help u?

Grts
Bram
