Decklink 4K Extreme 12G audio and driver issues

Hello,

I have submitted a support ticket but still waiting a response to these issues I thought I would bring it up to a larger group to see if others are experiencing the same thing.

System is the currently recommended by BMD Supermicro Linux chassis all of the latest Centos 6.6 images and software installed.

The card is flashed to the appropriate version once installed for all of these issues.

Using BMD drivers 10.4.1 to support quad SDI out of the Decklink 4K extreme with 3G daughter card I get no valid audio out over embedded SDI. AES works fine. Leader scope displays constant error condition.

Upgrading to driver and flash 10.4.2 same issue is present in any config as well as our Leader scopes displaying a constant error.

Downgrading to 10.4.0 we lose the quad SDI and also get a BIOS error about the system being out of PCI3.0 resources when it was perfectly fine with an older driver and flash.

Audio then works fine over SDI with no other changes to the system. Rolling back up to 10.4.1 audio goes away and PCie resource warning goes away.


Very strange here and we need to get the bottom of it as we were planning on deploying these new cards in the quad 3G config but without embedded audio we can not move forward.

I have a Decklink 12G Extreme and a Quad SDI addon card (BDLKHDEXTR4KQUAD). I try to capture 4K 25fps input using Capture demo app in SDK under Linux. SDK version: 10.4.1, Driver version: 10.4.2

I removed the HDMI Fiber AddOn card, and plugged Quad SDI Card.

For your note: There was no installation guide or connection diagram in Quad SDI box.

1) Can someone tell me connection diagram for Quad SDI addon card ?
2) Do I need to do something special on connecting addon card to 12G extreme ?
3) Can BMD please check Capture tool with Quad SDI with 4K 25 fps (4x3G) if it detects input signal correctly ?
