Suggestions/opinions on type of controls

Since I'm using Avid Media Composer 6, I'm thinking of purchasing the Avid Artist Color surface since it's compatible with both Avid and Resolve. What are your thoughts/opinions/suggestions on the type of controls you've used or preferred for Resolve? And no, I'm not referring to any controls that are more than $6K.

Unless you have to use Symphony for color, check out the Tangent Element for $3500 (I found unacceptable lag when trying to use Symphony with the Artist).
