UltraStudio Mini Monitor playback issue and temperature hot

PostSun Nov 15, 2015 8:58 am

Hello!

I bought new UltraStudio Mini Monitor which doesn't work properly. It works for about 20mins and playback goes down. No picture via HDMI or SDI. Product temperature goes very hot while we using it and playback shut down very often. Does somebody have this kind problems like mine?
Please give us advise, or we need give back product to seller Bhphotovideo. Thank you!

What is the conditions that it's running in? If the area is temperature controlled, there shouldn't be a problem but if it's not well ventilated or is hotter than the temperatures mentioned on the tech spec page, you could run into the troubles you've mentioned as well.

Hi, Tony!

Thank you for support. The air conditions is cool and dry. Nothing else hotter than mini monitor. And also we checked on iMac and again was same problems with playback and temperature(. Computer constantly in use. Screen saver mode is switch off. Prevent computer sleeping automatically. Hard drives always on air. No troubles with other thunderbolt devices on MacPro.
Than I contacted with UK's BM support. They ask to them back product to future testing. Maybe factory defects on it. So we decided send back product to the seller and try another thunderbolt product of BM.
