I am having the "Greyed out in preferences" Problem. I have a thunderbolt shuttle. The preferences were visible earlier today, but the express would not detect source. I then installed an earlier version and now I have no control in the pref pane. I tried to uninstall and reboot with multiple versions to no avail. Is there a way to manually uninstall? Maybe an old files is hanging things up...

I'm also trying to figure out how to manually uninstall Desktop Video... Windows "Uninstall" causes a reboot, and installing an older version (10.1.1, even though I downloaded 10.1.2??) gives the error: "The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This m ay indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2753"

Can't uninstall now.
Can't install.
