Widescreen/Scope/2.39 output to Decklink in Premiere

PostWed Nov 23, 2016 11:31 pm

I have a 2.39 timeline in Premiere (1920x803) and Premiere outputs a streched 16:9 image to my monitor when using my Decklink Mini Monitor via SDI.

Im assuming this is an unsupported frame size, as when set to No Output in the Premiere settings under the "For output of unsupported frame size:" If i set to Scale Up stretches it taller, Scale Down turns it into 4:3.

Are there any options to fix this other than using a 1080p timeline with crop bar mask?

Forgive me if this has been answered. I couldn't find in the forums search.

You should be rather working in standard size project with image scaled to this frame.
At the end if you want 1:1 pixel (no bars) output switch project to correct frame size and export.
Almost all delivery will require standard frame size.
