QUICKTIME - METADATA

I realize this is not so much a RESOLVE issue, I need to know if someone here has experience with Adding/Editing .MOV Metadata without ENCODING or TRANSCODING a new file.

I have tried FFMPEG, hit and miss there, and EXIFTOOL I am still trying to figure how to get the Tape/Reel Name in the .mov files.

134_1.mov - File Name
A056R0E1 - Tape/Reel Name
I need away to EDIT the A056R0E1, and if there is no TAPE/REEL figure how to add it in.

Do you want in-place change or re-wrap (not transcode/encode) is fine?

Also- If you are on Mac I have tool for adding Reel name and it's in place (instant change).
If you happy with re-wrap then ffmpeg should work- why you say it's hit and miss?

I also found away to change the REEL NAME in FFMPEG also but I get a COLOR SHIFT.

The sources are PRO RES HQ.

Yes I do NOT want to transcode the file again.

If you re-wrap then this can't break colors (or can if color tags are missing in MOV, but this can be fixed).

Can you send me a link so I can try that MAC App?
