FCPX 10.0.5 und Intensity Extreme

PostMon Sep 03, 2012 6:02 pm

My equipment: MacBook Pro (Retina Display, Mountain Lion 10.8.1.), Final Cut Pro X 10.0.5, Intensitiy Extreme, Zeiss Microscope with 1080p.
Is it not possible to put these things together to see the picture of my microscope on my MacBook? I tried so many different settings, but i could see anything on the screen. When I use Blackmagic Media Express with Desktop Video 9.6.2. I can see a picture, but why don`t it work with FCPX?

Thanks a lot for your help!

fcpx has no capture ability with the intensity cards. i highly doubt that will ever happen. just capture your clips with media express and then import them into fcpx.

Hi, thank you for your answer; in the user manual of the intensity extreme it`s described how to use FCPX with the intensity extreme, but in my configuration it doesn't work.

the intensity cards can be used in fcpx as an output monitor. other then that, no further fcpx support (yet).

Were you able to figure out how to get images and video from the Zeiss 1080p hdmi output through your Intensity Extreme. I would like to capture videos and images from my Zeiss Pico microscope. All I'm getting in Media Express is a black screen.

Thanks
Luis
