This is an ongoing unresolved problem. FCPX crashing only when using the Mini Monitor. Crash message is Final Cut Pro quit unexpectedly while using the DeckLinkFcpxCMIO plug-in.

Had this before and is still a problem.

I have this for months probably years and it it really annoying.

I had similar issues until I used Desktop Video Version 10.4.1
