Which monitoring card to choose?

Hi.
I want to buy Benq PV270 monitor with 2560x1440 (QHD).
I have macbook and I want to connect Benq monitor as reference monitor.
I can't use PCI cards. Which card to choose then?
I'm looking at BMD UltraStudio Mini Monitor, but it is HD only. Will it work with QHD monitor (in HD mode)?

Yes it will switch your monitor to 1080p/i automatically
The video will be upscaled to QHD by the monitor (There might be an option in the Benq to leave input source unscaled but I've no idea about that)

Those Benq have a good delta E but beware of the screen uniformity and/or light leakage
