Hi there I have been wondering if I am doing this the right way.
After filming on my Ursa Mini, I use a Lexar Professional workflow 2 to transfer my footage via thunderbolt to an external hard drive (USB3). My Macbook is the middle man.
How long should it take to transfer approx. 250gb? I notice that the estimated time jumps up and down as do the transfer rates. Also, is there another way I should be doing this that anyone can recommend? Maybe a setting as well within my macbook that could speed things up? I've read about windows having a "pen drive" option that they can switch to "better performance". Not sure if there is something like that on macbook.
Also, does each drives format make a difference? Like exFat to a Mac os extended (journaled)?
