Decklink Quad 2, suggested/tried-and-tested motherboard?
Posted: Thu Jul 06, 2017 6:47 pmThe Decklink Quad 2 requires a very specific configuration of PCIe slots, lanes etc. I have failed to find a 'suggested' or ideal motherboard for the product. There are several examples in this forum of issues that appear to have been caused by unsuitable motherboard choice. :(
Is there a specific motherboard that is tried-and-tested for the maximum throughput please?
We're looking to capture 1080p60 on many of the 8 channels (possibly all of them) simultaneously, so we'd really benefit from ensuring maximum compatibility, and minimum surprises.
Suggestions would be very welcome please!
