I'm not in front of Resolve now, but the way I interpret this is;
Right-click a clip, "render this clip", and add to batch. Do this for every clip, if there's many clips in between these.
But I'm a bit confused; do you want to render the whole timeline, or just a few clips, like the manual mentions here?
There's two ways you can render the whole timeline.
1) You can right-click the thumbnail for the first clip, and select "mark in". Then go to the last clip you want to render, right-click the thumbnail and select "mark out". Add to batch and hit render.
2) Right-click in the timeline above, where you have bars that indicate the lenght of each clip, just like in the Color page. From the menu that appears, select "render all".
But let's say you want to render the last shots you adjusted. That's where the filter function comes in handy. You can filther either by flags, markers, or the clips that were adjusted the past hour or hours. Super!
Pick your choice of filter, then mark in/out/render all. Add this to the batch and have fun! This works best in source mode by the way.
