Sped Up Recording

PostWed Aug 30, 2017 6:20 pm

Hopefully this is the right place to post this.

I just got a Hyperdeck Shuttle. I did a test recording with it using HDMI from my switcher. Audio leave the switcher sounds fine.

However, when I look at the recording it the whole thing is sped up and the voices are higher pitched.

Any reason this could be happening? I don't have an SDI cable yet to try that. Was hoping HDMI would work.

The audio is sped up, but the video is correct? Can you show clip attributes from MediaInfo?

The video and audio was sped up.

However, i've since solved the issue. Doesn't seem like it was the Shuttle at all. I believe it was the connection source (laptop) via HDMI to my video switcher. I unplugged everything and plugged it back in and it was working as normal.
